2024 Gingerbread Jubilee in Medford
It’s time for the 2024 Gingerbread Jubilee at the Craterian Theater in Medford. To us it’s the official kick off to the holiday season where we go as a family to see the hard work of so many of our bakers. All proceeds from this multi-day event is fundraiser for the theater that makes it possible for them to bring national and international performing artists to our community.
The event kicks off with its online auction that runs from Wednesday - Friday where you can bid on not only the beautiful gingerbread houses but gifts from local businesses. It’s open until 715pm on Friday. You can bid here. Also, on Wednesday night, they have a celebration for all of the bakers where they get to enjoy snacks, learn the winners of the competition and of course trade tips and tricks.
On Friday night is the Gala Dinner and Auction. Donors and others reservation holders gather to enjoy a private viewing of the gingerbread creations and of course enjoy a beautiful meal.
1st Place Jr. Student Award Winner - The Solstice Sandcastle by Athena Ousley
The grand finale of the event is the community viewing. Take a tour to see all of the beautiful creations. It smells heavenly and it’s so fun to see how the bakers use their skill and imagination to create their houses—and other scenes—with gingerbread and other edible items. We are excited to find out the winners to their newest category for students.

The community event runs Saturday - Monday and admission is $4 per person.
Hours are Saturday & Sunday, 10am - 6pm and Monday 10am - 4pm
