It's November and we are eagerly anticipating the official beginning of the holiday season which to us is the GingerBread Jubilee!  The GingerBread Jubilee is a benefit auction that makes it possible for the Craterian Theater to bring all of the wonderful national and international performers to us locally, here in the Rogue Valley.  Gingerbread Jubilee is a long-running celebration that will surely become a family tradition for you, as it has for us!

I’m so excited because this year the viewing is FREE and instead of visiting the theater to view the display of gingerbread houses, we can go anytime time of the day to see them through the windows at the Collier Creative Center November 19th through the 22nd. We are going to make it a family night out and bundle ourselves up, grab hot cocoa and go walk to see the displays! Check out the displays and let us know which are your favorites!

There were so many that we loved, but this one especially captured my heart because A Christmas Story is such an iconic Christmas movie. Look for all of the details like the Red Ryder BB gun, Flick licking the flagpole and even the leg lamp!

This Hamilton display really caught my eye featuring an actual scene from the musical!

Who didn’t tear up when Steve talked to all of us on social media? It touched our hearts because our now fifteen year old loved the show and we watched it with him so this display really spoke to me

Their house was so cute with all of the details including all of Steve’s friends and even Mailbox!

I couldn’t skip this beautiful Hansel and Gretel display. Every detail was perfect with edible leaves put on with tweezers. The characters look like they are porcelain.

Watching the joy and wonder on our kids faces as they take in each sweet, little detail keeps us going back year after year.

If you want to go to the Gingerbread Jubilee viewing will be from Friday, November 23rd and Saturday, November 24th 10am - 6pm and Sunday, November 25th 10am - 4pm.  It is located at the Craterian Theater at 23 S Central and it’s $4 per person! You will surely leave with dreams of the wonderful season that we are just at the beginning of and with anticipation of all the joy that the holidays bring!
