Come to Talent, Oregon for our Thanksgiving run! We will be hosting a food drive for the SOU food bank and a portion of the proceeds will go to SOR Shoes for Student Runners Program which provides shoes to Jr. High and High School athletes who would like to participate in Cross Country and Track but cannot afford proper running shoes.

Packet Pick Up and Registration - November 27th from 3-8pm at Legend Cider Co. Talent Taphouse, 245 W Valley View, Talent, Oregon 97540. Packet pick up is also available from 6:45-7:45am on the day of the race. NO DAY OF REGISTRATION will be offered. 

Participants will receive a custom race bib and finishers medal. No age group awards.

Come celebrate growing season with a self-guided tour of the Applegate Valley Wine Country. Spring is the perfect time to visit our 17 tasting rooms. The winegrapes have been picked, pressed, and barreled, and the winemakers have time to chat.

Pick your starting location, and let yourself be lured from one winery to the next. Each will offer an appetizer and wine for tasting. You’ll even get to meet some of the latest releases! Uncorked is a great opportunity to stock up on wine for upcoming holiday gifts, or parties.

Tickets are $59 each and include a commemorative Wine Trail wine glass.

Bonus: Designated drivers don’t need to purchase a ticket and may sample the food. The event will conclude at 4pm, however many tasting rooms will remain open until 5pm.

Please Note – In an effort to conserve natural resources no tickets are mailed. You have your purchase confirmation as a receipt. Simply arrive at the location you’ve chosen, your name will be on a list to check in and start your tour. For those who have groups who want to start at the same location, please purchase your tickets early and make sure everyone chooses the same start location. Locations fill up so that’s the best assurance of everyone getting your first choice start location.

This is the valley's premier craft beer event held in beautiful Grants Pass on Saturday, October 12th. The Chamber of Commerce places breweries inside downtown businesses. Participants stroll from location to location sampling amazing craft brews and delicious food!

Bear Creek Salmon Festival

The Bear Creek Salmon Festival is returning to North Mountain Park! After a long hiatus due to the pandemic Ashland Parks and Recreation is hosting the 16th Bear Creek Salmon Festival on Saturday October 1st from 11am to 4pm. 

If you’ve missed this joyous community event as much as we have come celebrate our watershed with a day of learning music crafts and culture.

This free event is a fun-filled day for the whole family. Learn all about wildlife habitat and how we can all become better stewards of our watershed. Local experts will be on-hand with outdoor activities for all ages including interactive exhibits kids’ activities live animals salmon education Native American demonstrations spin-casting and storytelling. Enjoy a lineup of outdoor musical entertainment or grab a delicious lunch from Fatsos Cheketos. (Please help us make this a Zero Waste event by bringing a reusable water bottle or cup.)

Walk 'N Roll Parade of Superheroes

Come dressed as your favorite superhero and walk, roll, skip, or bike in our parade at Twin Creeks Park! Parade route is approximately 1 mile.

There will be a costume contest, prizes, games, food trucks, and a decoration station to decorate any wheelchairs, wagons, or bikes.

Fun starts at 10am, parade starts at 11am.

2024 Bare Hill Farm Pumpkin Festival

Three weekends this October 12-13, 19-20, and 26-27. Hours 10am to 4pm.

No entrance fees. Free hay rides with pumpkin purchase. Dozens of pumpkin, squash and gourd varieties! 50 cents per lb, minimum $5. Cash, card, check or Venmo.


Camp Millenium will be hosting their annual fall fair at the pumpkin patch. Come ride the pumpkin Ferris wheel, pumpkin carriage ride and play all the festive games. All proceeds from the fair support the camp which sends kids with cancer to summer camp. $5 per child.

PUMPKIN CANNON! Buy a pumpkin and shoot the cannon yourself!! Buy a pumpkin for $5 to shoot the cannon.
