Bluegrass and Butterflies Festival 

September 13th - 14th, 2024

Friday, 3 pm - 10 pm

Saturday, 12 pm - 10 pm

Benefactor: Elkton Community Education Center

This is a two-day outdoor music festival held down at Fort Umpqua with dry camping available in the upper recreation field. The event features multiple bands, food trucks, products from local wineries & breweries, and vendors with eco-friendly, handmade, and wellness items.  

The event theme is “Music is Medicine,” and a portion of the proceeds benefit ECEC’s new Wellness Initiative to reduce high levels of chronic illness in this Medically Underserved Area through nutrition and lifestyle classes, support groups, public benefit application assistance, telehealth access, and preventative health services.

Hours:

Workshops and jam sessions from 12 pm to 10 pm down at The Fort.

Booths are open from 1 pm - 8 pm each day; Music until 10 pm.

Elkton Community Education Center site hours are 9 am - 5 pm.

Saturday: Lost Creek, Muddy Souls, Slocan Ramblers, Under The Rocks, Buffalo Galaxy, Stillhouse Junkies

Tickets: 

  • $55 - Friday Admission

  • $65 - Saturday Admission

  • $110 - Weekend Admission

Early Bird ticket prices are available until June 1, 2024. 

Free admission for children 12 years and younger. 

Camping: 

$70 - Weekend Camping (Friday - Sunday)

  • 9 am check-in on Friday 

  • 4 pm check-out on Sunday

  • RV & tent camping available at checkout

Parking: 

$5 - Daily Parking Pass 

  • Parking funds go directly towards the ECEC youth employment program

Camping Details: 

  • RV camping includes any 5th wheel type vehicles

  • Dry camping ECEC upper lot recreation field 

  • Bathroom accessible

  • Showers for $5.00 fee on-site 

  • No shade available 

  • NO FIRE/FLAME, PETS UNATTENDED 

  • NO RV hook-ups

  • STRICT pack-in-pack-out policy!
