Annual Gnome Procession to the Wishing Tree in Lithia Park to welcome Winter!

Meet on the Ashland Plaza at 5pm on the first day of Winter Thu Dec 21. Bring a lantern and your wand.

We will cast a protection for all the animals, take our first sip of Winter Elixir and awaken the Magical Minatures slumbering in Lithia Park.

2024 Siskiyou School Winter Faire and Market

The Siskiyou School’s Annual Winter Faire holiday event has been a tradition in the Rogue Valley for over 30 years!

At this family-friendly, old-fashioned event, you and your children may dip your own beeswax candle, choose a treat in the Crystal Cookie Room, pick a treasure from the Pocket Person, visit the magical throne room of the Fairy Queen, and more! Many other enchantments, crafts, and activities, along with delicious food and more than 25 gift vendors, will be awaiting YOUR family!

Winter Faire is the biggest community event of the school year. It draws not only alum students and old friends, but hundreds of people from all over the valley who don’t necessarily have any affiliation with Waldorf education. Pick up a clue car at the Ashland Chamber office (110 E. Main St) or Evergreen Federal Bank (1001 W. Jackson Rd) and find 8 of Santa’s Sneaky Pals around Ashland. Compete the hunt and enter to win!

Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult to win the prize in January 2025.

2024 Ashland Festival of Light

Santa’s Arrival and Grand Illumination begin at 5pm Ashland Ashland Public Library on Friday, November 29th. We will welcome youth and family groups to welcome Santa (his reindeer and elves!) downtown where he will greet the crowd and light the town from the Brickroom balcony, creating magic for this holiday season. The town will come alive with over one million lights all season long! 

Every weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the Chamber has coordinated carolers to stroll and sing downtown.

The Co-op's Gingerbread Cookie decorating party is back!

Join us in the classroom for our annual cookie celebration. We will have gingerbread people and shapes available with all the fixings to create your masterpiece.

In an effort to give back, we would like to encourage each participant to bring a nonperishable donation as an optional entry fee. Contributions will be donated to the Ashland Emergency Food Bank.

*This event is free, but we ask participants to reserve their space and arrive in your chosen time slot. This will help us keep things moving for the next group.

We'll have samplings of local wine, local Rogue creamery cheese, chocolate and more. Magical Michael will perform 2 magic shows, one at 1:30 pm and the other at 3 pm. Enjoy outdoor firepits, crafts for kids and plan on making the Northwest Nature Shop a part of your holiday weekend. All activities are free.

DIY KID'S CLASS _ HOMEMADE HOLIDAY GIFTS FROM NATURE

This holiday season, Rogue Valley Farm to School educators join the Co-op in helping children craft plant-based gifts while parents enjoy a free afternoon to shop, relax, or otherwise prepare for winter festivities. Children 7 and older will have the opportunity to choose a gift to make for a family member. 

Whether it's an edible creation, herbal body care product, or artistic nature-based craft, each child will take home a unique creation for a loved one. Children will also make gift cards and homemade wrapping paper!

$35/$40 for one child, $25 each for multiple children
