Klamath Tribes Restoration Celebration
Held each year on the fourth weekend in August. This annual event marks the anniversary of the Restoration of the Klamath Tribes, which includes; the Klamath, Modoc and Yahooskin Bands of the Snake Indians.
In 1954 the Klamath Tribes were terminated. But after many years of struggling, hard work and determination, the Tribes regained federal recognition by an act of Congress, Public Law 99-398. With restoration in 1986 the Tribes began to develop a full scope of programs which provide necessary services to Tribal members and the community. Today the Tribes operate with a budget of over $12 million annually, with over 30 different departments and services offered.
We now celebrate our Restoration each year by hosting a huge celebration.
All Events are Open to the Public and are Drug, Alcohol, and Smoke Free!
