Description

Youth Archery is designed to teach the fundamentals of archery; it provides discipline, respect, and builds character and self-confidence in individuals. Our program teaches kids the
concentration, patience and confidence essential for safety and enjoyment of the sport. The focus of our program is to have fun, meet new friends and participate in a non-competitive environment.

This camp will take place primarily indoors on the basketball court at the Y, with outdoor activities on Friday 3/29.

Equipment: The YMCA will provide the basic start-up equipment for the beginning archer. If an individual chooses to bring their own equipment, it must be approved by our instructor.

Cancellation: An email must be sent to youth@ashlandymca.org at least 5 days prior to the start of the camp. No refunds or credits will be provided once payment has drafted.

ABK’s Day Camps are all about fun!  ABK camps are specifically designed to be a safe and fun place for kids to spend those days off from school. Missoula Children’s Theater for Spring Break Youth Theater Day Camp for (Ages 6-14)

MCT Spring Break Youth Theater Day Camp offers an intensive one-week session, to students in grades K-8, providing a complete immersion into the world of theater and the arts. The 2020 camp experience culminates with two performances of The Emperor New Clothes.“Dress for success” is good advice that the Emperor takes whole-heartedly, wanting to impress new friends. But where to stop? When the clothes (and other people’s opinions) become more important than the people of the kingdom, trouble brews. To help their beloved Emperor find the way back to his heart, his true friends create an elaborate “birthday suit” for the Emperor to wear for his birthday parade celebration. The Emperor quickly and humbly learns that sometimes “less is more”!

Performances: March 28 @ 3:00p & 5:30p

Teens and Tweens ages 9 and older are invited to join us for another fun Spring Break Art Camp at Visions of Wonderland. A great way to introduce your child to different artistic mediums! Sign up for one or two workshops, or save 10% when you register for the full week!

Join Al Workman this spring for some fun while learning to play tennis.  This course introduces the players to the basics of tennis.  Skills covered will include forehand, backhand, volleys, and serving as well as score keeping and court etiquette.  Racquets are available or bring your own.  We will provide the balls; you bring a water bottle and a smile.  Must be preregistered to attend.

This is an exciting camp for ages 6–12.  Under the guidance of the instructors, students will create their own script, connect music and dancing to their script, and determine costumes and scenery. On the final day of the camp, campers will showcase what they have learned to their parents. ​

The Force Awakens in this engineering course for Jedi apprentices! Explore engineering principles by signing and building projects using LEGO® materials such as X-Wings, R2 Units, Energy Catapults, Defense Turrets, and Settlements from a galaxy far, far away. Create motorized and architectural projects with imagination and engineering to defeat the Empire! Please note, students will not be able to keep Lego® materials.

Camp can be attended for the whole week, or by the day. Camps are for youth ages 7 – 12 years old and run from 9 am to 3 pm.

Come spend spring break at SOGA! 9am - 12pm is open to all kids 4yrs+, and 9am - 2pm is open to all kids 6yrs+ with gymnastics experience. There will be games, gymnastics, free time, and lots of fun! We will provide a snack for all campers. Full day campers must pack a lunch.

Campers must arrive by 8:45am each day to be guaranteed a spot at camp, arrival after 8:45am is based on availability and is not guaranteed.
