The fertile Rogue Valley produces a palette of exceptional flavors for the table. The Pear A Fare events celebrate the unique flavors of the Rogue Valley, recognize our outstanding chefs and artisan food, and support education and training to continue our tradition of excellence in the vineyards, orchards, and kitchens of the Rogue Valley.
This event includes:
Vineyards, breweries, distillers, local artisan food makers are all under the festival canopy serving tastes, and selling products. Tasting glasses and tickets to sample the flavors will be for sale at the Pear A Fare entrance. Admission is $5, includes 5 taste tickets. A glass and 10 taste tickets is $20, more taste tickets can be purchased. Kids 5 and under free. Vendors will also be selling wine, beer, coffee, and other local drinks by the glass. Our artisan food makers will have a wide variety of products for sale as well as samples available. Thank you to Pear A Fare glass sponsor, Crater Lake Ford.
Pear A Fare Tent is located in the parking lot at the south east corner of Central and 5th in Medford.
Boatnik is an annual festival held in Riverside Park in Grants Pass, Oregon over Memorial Day Weekend for more than 60 years. There is no admission to attend Boatnik and there are many activities and shows for all ages. There are additional activities available for purchase including the Davis Shows Carnival, concert, and Boatnik Brewfest. The best part...ALL of the proceeds from the event are donated throughout the year to children and youth-based organizations in Josephine
The activities start Thursday evening with the Davis Shows Carnival featuring food, rides, games and family fun. The excitement continues Friday with the concert, a spectacular fireworks display on the river, midway vendors, and the carnival. Saturday morning features the well-known Boatnik parade that travels through downtown Grants Pass and ends at Riverside Park. Throughout the weekend the festivities continue in the park where there are a whirlwind of activities that include: Sprint and Drag boat racing, carnival rides, arts and crafts, children's activities, Bingo, food vendors, Monday Sundaes, the Boatnik Brewfest, the Chevy Drive It Home Golf Shoot Out and a second night of patriotic fireworks. Monday is the highlight of Boatnik featuring the World Famous Tom Rice Memorial White Water Hydroplane Race, and the Memorial Day Service including a jet flyover.

Experience LIVE entertainment with an international, multicultural flair that combines music and dance
Help us beautify our Children's Garden this Earth Day by helping us plant a vertical garden. Materials and instructions will be provided. This event will be held outside, and getting dirty is likely. Dress accordingly.
Grants Pass launches it’s Balloon & Kite Festival with a spectacular aerial show that features morning balloon flights, tethered balloon rides, colorful giant kites in special shapes, food vendors and other kid-friendly activities, music and entertainment for all ages. Come at dawn and stay until dark. It’s the Southern Oregon community event of 2020 you won’t want to miss!

Season Pass: $25/adult, $15/kid (12 & under)
Weekend Family Pass: $60/family (2 adults & up to 4 kids)
Daily Entry is $15/adult, $5/kid (12 & under)
Entry pass is good for the entire day.
Kids 3 and under are not charged admission.
Balloons launch from PARKSIDE Elementary. No charge to attend.
All other activities take place off Lower River Road — 1.7 miles past Lincoln Road.
The Charleston community invites seafood lovers to come celebrate fresh and delicious Coos Bay oysters at the 15th Annual Charleston “Ahh Shucks!” Oyster Feed. The celebration is from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology (OIMB) Dining Hall.
Local Oysters from: Clausen Oyster Co., Coos Bay Oyster Co., North Bend Oyster Co., Qualman Oyster Farms, and Pacific Seafood Oysters. Steamed, sauteed or fried oyster meals include sauces, baked beans, coleslaw, bread and drink $12-$16. Gourmet hotdog meals, $8 for adults, $5 for kids. Shrimp cocktails from Hallmark Fisheries and Oregon Trawl Commission $2.
