This exclusive small-group, vineyard & cellar experience during harvest is unique to the Umpqua Valley.

Join winemakers around the Umpqua Valley to get an inside look at the inner workings of harvest.  Each winery will go in depth in the Vineyard or in the Cellar, with hands-on experiences, and a custom itinerary built around what you’d like to explore.

Taste award-winning wines, sample deliciously paired small bites, and meet passionate winemakers, as each winery gives you a peek behind the curtain of the magical harvest experience.

You’ll be able to:

• Sample grapes in the vineyard, squeeze/stomp them, and test for ripeness

• Watch how grapevines are pruned for optimal ripeness

• Help with an active grape fermentation–checking brix and measuring temperature

• Blend different lots of Pinot Noir, to experience how the winemaker creates a final blend

• Taste directly from a barrel of aging wine and learn how wineries use a “wine thief”

In addition to wine tasting, your Harvest Tour ticket includes gourmet food bites, such as:
