BEST BLOODY MARYS IN SOUTHERN OREGON

Mmmm, Blood Mary’s.  I love Bloody Mary’s for brunch of course, but honestly I could drink them anytime.  They are almost their own course!  So, what makes a good bloody Mary?  I think we can all agree that the garnish is just about everyone's favorite part from bacon to pickled veggies, quail eggs to fried cheese curds, the more, the better.   Then there is the actual mix itself.  It definitely has to be well-seasoned with celery salt, can be spicy, or not and have a salted rim, (bonus if the rim has bacon or tajin or extra spices).  We are so obsessed with bloody Mary’s we made it a personal challenge to find the best in southern Oregon!  So here they are, our favorite bloody Mary’s in southern Oregon!

GRANT PASS

THE BOHEMIAN BAR & BISTRO

The Bohemian serves brunch on Saturday’s and Sunday’s and with that they have an awesome Bloody Mary Bar.  Choose your vodka, choose your rim flavor, and then pick your own garnishes!  Choose from candied bacon, celery, pepperoncini, cocktail onions, olives, fried onion ring or cheese curds, and a variety of pickled veggies. They also serve so many yummy flavors of Mimosas, so there is something for everyone!

MEDFORD

Common Block Bloody Mary - Medford - What to do in Southern Oregon

COMMON BLOCK

We love when restaurants offer unique twists on the classic, and Common Block adds beer and a red pepper puree to their Bloody Mary that tones down the tomato flavor. Their garnish is so yummy with lots of house made pickled veg including jalapenos for us spice lovers, so good!

Over Easy - Bloody Mary - Medford - What to do in Southern Oregon

OVER EASY

Over Easy is well known for the top notch brunch and they do their cocktails just as well!  The Bloody Mary mix is nice and balanced with great flavor!  The garnishes vary with whatever may be seasonal and locally acquired.  Last time I had it they had tasty pickled zucchini!

ASHLAND

Brickroom - Bloody Mary - Ashland - What to do in Southern Oregon

BRICKROOM

As with all of Brickroom’s cocktails, their Bloody Mary is so good!  Perfect spice with tons of pickled veggies.  I will just go there for a Bloody Mary and then finish with one of their Affogato with chocolate covered coffee beans!

Brother's - Bloody Mary - Ashland - What to do in Southern Oregon

BROTHER’S

Not only is breakfast one of our fave spots for a comfort breakfast, they have a great Bloody Mary with tons of flavor and the crispiest bacon.  Get it spicy with bacon vodka!

SMITHFIELD’S

As with all that Smithfield’s makes, their Bloody Mary is simply fantastic.  They are not open for brunch right now, during Covid but when they reopen for it we will be first in line!  I love the spicy that comes with a pickled quail egg (you heard that right)  So yummy!
